What is the general opinion or opinions of VQ3 players about the xerp clients command in VQ3 gameplay? Is the effect on shaft accuracy too negative for the overall gameplay?
A little info on xerp although I do not pretend to understand the details: the effect is to push what you see into a fully extrapolated state, that is projected positions based on current, known information. It is not quite the same as timenudge which could be used to move a player's image significantly ahead of where they were but the feel is similar as it moves the image to where it 'is' before lag and so on is taken into account (super rough and probably somewhat inaccurate explanation) in receiving enemy position updates.
