how do you dodge hitscan

heh ya i know u cant "dodge" teh rail, im just looking for help on things to do to make them miss more.

just kill them before they can even think about railing you, problem solved.

honestly, your +back playstyle just calls for rail whoring

left and right small steps.. a good player will you hit with rail no matter how you dodge, but this is the best way. it means you dont move too much and become and easy target, as you're moving a different direction very frequently. this isnt as effective against worse players as they can get lucky hits, but it should work enough vs someone you dont mind taking a 50% chance of them hitting. Bigger dodging movements and jumping are better for rockets due to the splash damage, but against rail, an instant single-fire shot, you're best bet is to strafe quickly left and right in small increments.. blah blah =P

The best way to avoid being railed to hell is to move unpredictable around the map (in general). Sometimes its also good to slow down the game and wait for your opponent to make a move. Its crucial to be the first guy shooting, which also causes railers miss more.
Many railers keep camping some locations and hitscaning. These locations are ussually quiete predictable. In addition it means they loose some time so u can take longer way around not goin into "shooting range".
When u feel confident enough, try just to outrail your opponent :) Sometimes its enough to hit few lucky rails and flawless railer will just stop to feel so confident and hitting everything.

Don't pop out where he's probably already aiming for you. Also if you're going to do something predictable, make sure it's really worth it and do it with more than 80 hitpoints.
