can't any way shape or form to give up on PSN access so i updated.. i hope they will be able to make a custom firmware based on the latest version someday.

I had a hacked wii once, took a long time to get to know how to hack it and took a long long time to download 20-30 games on different torrent sites, only to not play a single one of them ...

yes of course, can put games onto external or internal HDDs and they now also work without a retail disc in the drive.
having said that sony have released 2 new firmwares since 3.41 which you need to go online. also retail games are starting to ship that require 3.42 (hence hack wont work) with the first supposedly being 'f1 2010'

No you can't play online without the most recent firmware.
It's the same with the 360, as soon as you go onto live they will brick your console (eventually as part of a big wave).

its not, xbox360 can be hacked with modchip and played online i have one and works perfectly on the other hand ps3 does not work the same way.

Not gonna crack mine, I am actually really loving not being able to pirate for it, I buy more games and I actually give the games I buy a proper chance. I tend to enjoy the games more now. I remember when I had an X-Box(1), and I must have downloaded 3-4 games a week, played them for an hour or so, and then to never play them again. Every game I've bought I've spent at least 15-20 hours with.

Sounds like buyer's remorse to me more than actually truly liking the game. If you got it for free you'll at least have a truthful opinion about the game instead of one partly caused by some need to justify spending 40-60 e.

I've enjoyed every ps3 game I've bought so far, thoroughly but that may also have to do with me being more careful with checking reviews and the like as well. But I mean, most games can be good, if you give them time and interest. It's just that when I download games, I give them less time and interest. I've had buyers remorse with electronics, clothes etc, but that doesn't make me force myself to like whatever I bought like you seem to believe. I just end up disliking the product and am angry with myself for spending my money that loosely.

i've given plenty of games that chance on the ps3... Have yet to find any game worth playing for more than just a few hours...

so basically u have to choose between PSN and this? lulz.

apparently a version for the ps3 controller will be out in the next day or so, which meens anyone will be able to do it. (providing you have a ps3 and a pc)

the big question: if the code is signed with Sony's own keys i wonder how they can actually detect modded consoles?
i guess Sony better start charging for PSN, because their profits will start to leak
