Tonight is the night! As it was already announced the HoQ CA 4v4 Spring Season 2016 kicks off tonight at 21:00 CET with first CA matches of the season. A total of 21 teams, across three divisions will be battling to crown themselves as the HoQ CA champions.

To keep you entertained before match start, I set on a quest to get every team's predictions and thoughts about the league and upcoming matches. I have conducted interviews with team leaders spanning all three divisions. I managed to cover almost all of them. Some couldn't be reached, some didn't want to participate but overall it was an interesting experience. I've been working in fifth-gear for the past 24 hours to get this done as soon as possible, so please excuse any mistakes or typos that you might encounter while reading. I'm still editing on-the-go and getting some more interviews in. So keep checking this page.

Other than that, I would like to express my deep gratitude to all who agreed to be interviewed and to those who have helped me along this hectic journey. I have met many new and interesting people along the way and have really enjoyed interacting with you all. I hope you had a good time doing this as well as I did. Thank you again! The signups for ql Quake Live House of Quake CA 4v4 Spring Season 2016 have been closed. The draft groups have been released but do take note that these are draft groups, meaning it is still subject to possible changes. In total 22 teams have signed up for this season. The matches start at 21:00 CET on March 24th and will be played on Thursday's every week.


Update: Germany pRophecy pulled out of the tournament. Europe White Ivory now in div 2 (previously div 1). Divisions are final now.

Division 1 will play Sundays 21:00 CEST, Division 2 will play Mondays 21:00 CEST and Division 3 plays Tuesdays 21:00 CEST. The Spring Season will start Sunday 27th of March. We continue the donations to build up some more prize money. Donate for the league.

Event: HoQ Spring 2016
The sign-ups for ql Quake Live TDM 4v4 Spring Season are open from Tuesday 1st March until Sunday 20th of March 2016.

The League start will be Sunday 27th of March, duration depends on the sign-ups (1 match per week). Division 1 plays Sunday at 21:00 CET, Division 2 Monday at 21:00 CET, Division 3 Tuesday at 21:00 CET.

Check below for all needed informations and sign-up! If you already have player and clan account on House of Quake, feel free to sign-up right away. Otherwise make sure to register yourselves and your clan first.
You can also now donate for the league. This should help to build some prize money for the competition and to attract / motivate more teams to sign up!


We are running a public poll to get the preference of the community. But more importantly, we are also asking team captains for their vote to determine the 7th map (please contact xou with your vote).

House of Quake CA Spring Season 2016 (21 comments)

Event: HoQ Spring 2016
Time has come for new Clan Arena season at House of Quake ! Signups will be open from 1st of March to the 20th of March. The first league match starts at 15:00 CDT, 24 March 2016.

Cup day for CA league will remain at Thursday as with previous seasons. Rules have been updated and similar as with TDM cup, there will be a squad player limit. Limit is set at 8 players per squad. Mappool is changed from last season: Asylum, Trinity, Overkill, Quarantine, Hidden Fortress, ra3map9, ra3map20.

Also players and team managers should make sure that all players in squad have their steamid entered in profile's designated field, otherwise they will not be eligible to play any matches.

Two months after the end of the HoQ Fall Season 2015, it's now time to announce the new season!

The sign-ups for the TDM HoQ Spring 2016 Season will be opened from the 1st to the 20th of March. The league will start on the 27th of March.

The rules has been freshened up a bit : A TDM squad now has a maximum limit of 6 players. The map pool almost remains the same : Deep Inside, Dreadful Place, Grim Dungeons, Limbus, Purgatory, Ragnarok and a 7th map that hasn't been decided yet (Tornado or Intervention).

Given the success of the donation campaign from the previous season (see the details), we've decided to run a new one for the coming TDM Spring 2016 season. You can donate at Paypal@xou or just use the plain old Paypal link.
