I find some of these entries really misplaced, especially when a already released movie like The Last Ice Climber can be selected.... Some of the others also doesn't look like they were created just for this compitition, but I guess the lack of rules/organizing is to blame.

How the MovieNations Rave On! entry can be left out is just crazy, when you see the quality of some of the selected ones.

Alive is by far the best movie in this contest and one of the best this year imo.

I think the only thing Alive had going for it was the 3D work - and even that only compared to the rest of the fragmovie scene. Other than that the machinima bits were incoherent and tacky. The actual frag scenes were average stuff you see everywhere.
Alive will probably win, not because it's an amazing movie but because it has so little competition.

But yea, voted for 9.

a good movie it's not about 3d,frags etc. it's about the direction,the edit and the overall feeling.the only 2 movies i really enjoyed this year is Archeo and Alive.

I did not say that a good movie is about 3D or frags. I brought up 3D because I thought it was the only impressive thing in this movie. As for fragpart I do not mean that individual frags need to be good, I meant that the footage should be directed/cut/synced well and possibly enhanced with clever effects. Alive just didn't deliver in the fragpart which happens to be the bulk of most fragmovies.
