keyboards with actual keys will never disappear and mainstream peripherals will continue to be cheap. Trust me on this one, I come from the future.

It will make some fapping sessions easier, but overall swinging your hands in the air is just tiresome.

i see people picking up on this particular bit of tech and pointing out its disadvantages and so on, but noone is talking about new input devices in general; things like mind control devices (very basic still, but maybe not for long etc), other pointing devices etc.

there is simply no doubt the the mouse will get replaced at some point, the question is with what. what would such a device need to do for it to be useful for gamers, and with those requirements in mind, what will the hardware be like?
