Got bored within 10 mins of bioshock 1 :/ That's about how long I give a game these days, might seem a little ADD but keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of games are fucking shit so if they completely bore me I'm not going to risk playing them on the off chance they get any better
Agreed, I struggle to play new games for longer than 10 minutes... One of the main reason I erm, you know.
There's only a very small number of games I actually gone through to play longer / complete (BioShock 1 was one of them, Bioshock 2 was aweful, that lasted 5 minute).
I managed to get through crysis 2 recently (I guess I like being the predator) but my experience was much the same as yahtzee from zero punctuation if you saw his review, if you didn't: for the 'final boss' I walked past 200 aliens invisibly and then punched 3 super aliens to death
Still tho was fun being all invisible and shit early on
Lasted about 2 hours on Crysis 2.. Don't have any real motivation to go back to it.
The only games I have completed/spent alot of time on were RPG's like Fable II/3 & Dragon Age 2. I guess it's the leveling up and new equipment that keeps me hooked..
agreed on the predator bit. I didn't play any of Crysis 2 and have no intention to. They dumbed it down for consoles. Crysis and Crysis:Warhead > Crysis 2 console nonsense imo.
I don't really get this.. I fucking hate console ports but I thought crysis 2 was fine, what was consoley about it? The fact that they removed strength mode and made it context based or whatever? It's absolutely miles better this way.
It's so weird 'cause I see this shit all the time about crysis 2 but all I've seen about "the witcher 2" is how it's a PC exclusive (it's not, and it's a TERRIBLE console port)
edit: btw I'm aware it's not as good as crysis 1 it's just I don't see how it's been consolised, I found it strange how the game got easier... the humans were the hardest enemies in the game
I don't really care as much about them lowering the graphics so much compared to the first one, it's just that it was made with a controller in mind, rather than mouse and keyboard. I'm not even sure if there's an option to disable the auto-aim like there is in UT3.
Didn't notice any aim assist... I forgot about the graphics thing, I guess it is a little fucked up that it's dx9 when crysis was dx10 but crysis ran like fucking shit and honestly I thihk crysis 2 looks pretty good and ran amazing for me
your problem is that you are overgamed,
you seem to play like 3 games a month,
you cannot enjoy games anymore, because your gaming dosis is too high, and additionally you also play QL ...
I think 3-5 games per year is enough, don't need any more ...
it is the same with movies, there are people who have seen all the movies that are currently running in theaters (tbh. I would like to know what these guys do all day besides watching tv series or movies) and they cannot enjoy a single one of these movies ...
Hate how they make sequels to a game that didn't need sequels. Bioshock was great for it's unknown setting, story and innovations to FPS gameplay. It didn't have the greatest shooting mechanics and the story felt like it ended when you finished the game. Without the freshness to the gameplay, there is no point in playing another Bioshock IMO.
