How to add friends: when you are in a server with someone you want to add press esc, go in admin panel and select his nickname then click on "friend invite" option.
Some of my clanmates test it and it works.

pc video settings for quake (9 comments)
Posted by ndp15 @ 11:08 CDT, 15 June 2015 - iMsg
I bought a new pc some weeks ago and I'm trying to put the right settings for best performance. Right now I play only quake so give me tips for it.
I have i5 4690, radeon r9 290, msi pc mate h97 and old but good multisync fe1250+ monitor. SO is windows 8.1 pro (I'll pass to win 10 when it will be ready). Mouse logitech g400s, GameCom 780 headset and a 5 euro keyboad.
I already installed the latest drivers.
I try to play Quake (1024x768 at 130hz) and it runs fine obviously: I can reach 250fps even when I record a video in asylum :) However I know a lots of software put additional input lag so I decide to ask here for advices in order to reach best performance. For example which amd catalyst 14.12 settings should I select?

P.S yes I set cg_placebo 1 :)

Sapphire r9 290 tri-x and crt monitor (7 comments)

I bought this graphics card some days ago and I want to use it (play quake and normal usage) with my NEC MultiSync FE1250+ monitor (http://www.cnet.com/products/nec-multisync-fe...-22/specs/).
The graphics card has 4 output port: 1 x HDMI (with 3D), 1 x DisplayPort 1.2, 2 x Dual-Link DVI-D.
The crt monitor obviously has only a VGA input port.
I understand that I need a digital to analogical active adapter to use them but here we come to the problems: which input port is better (if there is one..) to use? Can I use low resolution (like 800x600 or 1024X768) and change refresh rate up to 144hz with an adapter like this? (sorry for the italian link, it says that is a DP to VGA adapter and you can use it up to 1920x1200 resolution).
Do you have some cheaper solutions?
