It's not really. Cheap cash for what? Handing out brochures to nerds who are too shy to actually do anything except ogle. I can think of far worse gigs - porn movies for one, being a dancer babe at a race track or sports arena for another, cheerleading, etc. All at places and venues where you're 10 times more likely to get groped than at CeBIT.
And let's not get into what guys are willing to do for money, shall we?

I dont ever remember seeing a booth babe who was anymore attractive then girls I see walking down the street. Maybe their just not my type or maybe I'm not as sexually frustrated.
Hehe Gizmondo had a nice imaging on their booth at CeBIT, but when I asked those girls (and guys, becos i guessed they would be smarter) for some info on the Gizmondo... they could not even give me the info which was shown in their information booklets.
