aside from the obvious fact that the reviewer is potentially brainwashed and, to anyone with a brain in the modern world, a bit over the top.. this review looks like it was written by a ten year old. I don't see how any one could take that seriously, even another brainwashed Christian.

one more thing: children are affected by things that happen to them, directly or indirectly. I'm not sure if something as miniscule and common as a video game, especially such a silly game, would do anything to a child, however. and the typical child will be just as normal as ever until they start growing up, that is where they run into problems.

as for the media and violent video games, I totally agree with the true principle behind Christianity, that such immorality and degradation will lead to our (my country, in this instance) ultimate demise. but these Christians are just brainwashed bible thumpers that are unknowingly contributing to a cause that is much different in rationale. Christianity is made by intelligent people to save stupid people. IMHO, that's fine, but the intelligent people should be able to dwell as they please without being affected. >:)

Video games can have a bad effect in that sense that they trigger a schizophrenic crises in schizophrenic people or trigger a mental breakdown in depressive people. It is close to impossible that video games have drastic effects on kids that were brought up with love and a sense of respect in a sane and healthy environment. It is not suprising that killers who went on a murdering spree did play violent games or were otherwise exposed to violent content at one time in their lives. But that's the case with many other people who are will never kill any people.

It seems you people have a knack for not reading my posts thoroughly, or you're just stupid. I never said that intelligent people (and don't get the wrong idea of what I mean by intelligent, because you may not be one of them!) believe in religion. I said that they created it, and should be able to live freely without caving to it in their own lives. Whether this makes sense to you or not is debatable, but it is a simple thought:

De-moralization of a populace and its degradation leads to sexual promiscuity, homosexuality (Greece/Rome/Now You're Seeing America), lack of will(Hitler/Terrorism, Bush/Terrorism???!! Oh nos), and other things that can eventually lead to a country's demise.

Problem is that Video games are all too easy to blame, your more exposed to violence and disturbing images everytime you read a news paper or watch the news on TV.

It is possible for a game to make someone go completely insane and romp around a school with a shot gun and home made pipebombs, but ill bet that they were more affected by the images on TV and in news papers than what they saw in the game.

if you laugh while playing GTA cuz you just killed some innocent person, that's kinda fucked up (yeah it's a game, but laughing while doing it is still weird)
