Hopefully somebody will come along who can just see the error in that file and tell you what to remove. I cant see the error myself.

For the meantime ill just tell you how I would fix it, and I think id have it fixed within about 30 mintutes seeing as default config works.

I dont use this approach of handling config files the way most other ppl seem to. I dont export them. I dont import them or load other random peoples configs. I dont even really know exactly how to do that. I simply use the autoexec.cfg or create files like myconfig.cfg. Maybe this is why I never get issues.

As you can see the first line of you config you have given is
// Hardware cfg - Generated by QUAKE LIVE. Do not modify
thats why its filled with so much random shit. Even settings you never changed are in there listed by their defaults.

For example bind ` "toggleconsole"
Why do you need to keep this saved in config? Its the dedault for it anyway. Its redundant. Your config is full of redundant shit, and its also broken.

Thats why I propose the following. Just create an Atraydeez.cfg file with notepad in the same folder as qzconfig.cfg and repconfig.cfg

Now open the files side by side and just read through your config line by line and paste ONLY commands that you actually know what they do and ONLY commands that are actually being changed from default into the Atraydeez.cfg file.

When you are done go into console and type exec Atraydeez.cfg

Thats it done. Keep that file backed up it will be good forever and you wont ever get this kind of issue again.

Sorry if thats not what you wanted to hear but this isnt exactly a config from scratch either its just skimming through and fixing really. Dont see how it would take over 30 mins to just paste the non redundant stuff into another file then reset to defaults and exec Atraydeez.cfg

Now looking at your config a little. ill concede that if you do as above the config probably wont ever be exactly as it was, maybe for better or worse. You will at least end up with a much cleaner config.

There is so much redundant stuff ofc because the file is generated by quake not really your doing.

I cant tell what stuff there because you are using it and what is just defaults.

The easy way to actually get done what i said is leave out all the binds, leave out all the gfx texture commands, Leave out all the sound commands. This stuff can be done in menu

Leave out all the server commands, leave out all the hud commands if you werent modifying hud, or maybe you were thats what only you know.

Just focus on commands you actually remember typing into console.

By the time you are done 90% of this should be gone, and when you boot quake and see some things missing, you can always go look back in your old config what it was and add it to the new.

Thats the best advice i can give sorry.

If you're absolutely certain it's related to your cfg and not something else in the QL folder, just copy paste chunks of your config back in, say 20 lines at a time, until you get the error. Then narrow it down by individual lines until it disappears, etc... or just start progressively removing halves to narrow it down that way.

you get the idea, it's the fastest method.

make sure you delete autoexec and any other automatically generated between each attempt though. sometimes bad cvars can remain in there and cause errors no matter what you do.

In my experience with cfgs, if the cfg file is to big, 40kb or bigger it will makes QL give errors.

Plus I saw there is cf and ch command lines in your cfg (QL don't use those anymore). If I was you I would start from scratch. If you know your settings like the back of your hand, 15 mins tops and your cfg is back as new.
