What is technically correct? It was derived from some word, doesn't mean it has to be pronounced similar to that word. Also doesn't mean that whoever thought of that word has any authority over telling people how to use and pronounce it. And a twitter post is not an authority for correctness of anything.

Seriously guys, quake is not all esports. Actually, esports was just a small part of any quake and whatever the esports players need is not necessarily of any top priority for game to be success.

proper noghost freeze ruleset would be actually good. never understood the hate behind insta. good aim prac and easy way to get into quake.

I remember many players started Quake with instagib, later with deathmatch. I think Strenx was one of them if im not mistaken. So IG is good thing for new players
