Agreed, he deserves a lot more subsribers than he has atm. Learned a lot by watching these videos.

I don't know how hard it would be to get his demos in Europe, but there's a NA QW player that goes by Kovaak who is pretty fun to watch. Also, of course Milton's playstyle is entertaining as well, so either of those guys would be great to watch imo.

For CPM, honestly I'd like to see some Rat gameplay, I've really only seen very little, and as I understand it he was one of the pioneers in mastering CPM gameplay.

KovaaK vs def in the finals of GGL Americup 2 (1st place took home $500, second place took home $350). Two best of 5 matches.

But then again, I'm biased in favor of these matches :P.

I have no experience in quakeworld, but in the few duels I've done blaze is extremely impressive. he lives in US I assume now but has old RUS demos of him playing top level players on challengetv. I assume he should be the best in NA?

I'll try remember to do it soon, it's annoying to do that's why I've kept putting it off :D. For it to work I have to copy my entire qw directory, but it's 3.5gb because of a bunch of textures, so I need to figure out what to cut or just upload the entire thing perhaps. *shrug*

Your streaming channel? Interested in streaming QuakeWorld are we? If so, I could make you a great quality streaming HUD for QuakeWorld -- I mean quality. :] If you do just tell me what resolution you stream in. I'm on a 1680x1050 monitor so making a HUD for 1920x1080 is a no-go.

actually it's not a problem, if you use a 16.9 res, tweak conwidth/conheight appropriately and don't use the broken ezquake option to recalculate the fov ( aka bump it yourself ) it should scale well as long as the guy on the other end doesn't use retarded conheight/conwidth.

thanks, I'll aim to do a lot more in a couple weeks when I have more time. It's pretty fucking hard haha, but I might try to document myself reaching 2000-2100 elo or something. If I have time to take it more seriously I can even go through demos and such.

I saw your stream, it was a good frame rate, resolution was a bit low. Do you mind posting your xsplit settings? Just looking for bitrate, framerate, etc.

yeah sure. I could probably raise the quality but the best I can do to have a smooth playing experience whilst having 45 fps is what you saw.

displays both on
desktop res: 1280x720
ql window res: 800x500
output res: 840x525 (8:5 / 16:10)
fps: 45
bitrate: 2000-3000 (anything inbetween this should be fine)
quality: 10
xsplit preset: default
sound: 128

that's for QL, I used similar settings for CS:GO but a smaller desktop res as the in-game res was smaller, it didn't give me many options =(.

Ideally the aim is to have the same desktop res as the game res, but these games don't full screen window very well I've noticed :E.

I noticed in sc2 turning off the 2nd monitor had a performance boost, but from my tests in ql it didn't seem to have any effect.

Loved the slackers vs disorder game, pretty crazy comeback and complete lock down of the map!

qw ftw! the season is starting up again soon btw. not sure how much interest there will be, the last season didn't go so well.

COVLAN TDM final {4k vs dignitas} map analysis by one of the participating players would be like Christmas all over again!

I've searched high and low for either a higher quality VOD or a demo converted to video, but have fallen short all the time, (Q50 only has a 200p VOD uploaded, all original VOD sources have shut down and I no longer have a q4 CD key cos I lost it), that map literally defines 17 years of knowing quake for me :O
