Actually a very decent line-up. The only game missing is Starcraft but as Starcraft 2 is on the horizon it's likely best to wait until it's released.

Not much chance of that given the netcode is ropey, and most people are pretty crap on the pc version. And that's without the constant raged disconnects. After a months worth of play its pretty much impossible for me to progress because I can't get the sort of games I would expect at a tourney level.

That means I have not really progressed to the finer points of the game which is what tournamnet SF4 revoles around.

Its an annoying problem I can't really solve. Now if it was GGPO I would have no excuse because it was lag free and the best players in the world were there.

I have always wanted to go to Sweden though. But I won't go if I can't get some good games in.

The best way to practice online is to set up matches against good players, but I guess most top players prefer to play either on xbox och ps3.

It keeps happening :(


I wish more people would play on the PC, on GGPO almost everyone was a solid player. My 3 weeks with an under powered guile is already giving most people a tough time.

And its not becaue its much good :(

What's the cheapest place to fly to there? Stockholm? Can I get a train from there to Jönköping?

Either Stockholm or Gothenburg. Gothenburg is much closer (~15 miles away) than Stockholm (~50ish miles away) but i'm not sure the airlines have any flights from <way overseas> to Gothenburg.

Europeans should consider getting a flight to/from Gothenburg instead of Stockholm though.

That's correct, We had a Funtour with product prizes at DH Summer 09. The tournament at DreamHack Stockholm was BYOC aswell. We will announce tournament details for DHW09 soon and i'm sure you wont be disappointed.
