surely its up to iD to enforce their license? the release of this information is probably beneficial to them, so they'll likely not enforce it in this case.

enforcing their license means suing or at least threatening their customers. That wont happen, clearly, unless someone does something very serious.

However that doesnt mean we should all leek private and confidential information whenever we feel like it.

Given how holier than thou linux people can get over licenses its ironic that it is ignored here.
