Since they dropped the 'looking for a game' thingy, It's totally random to find a ctf/tdm match and most of the time the ctf ones degenerate to 8vs8 spam4all :E

At least you have servers to play on that ping less then 200.

somone gimme a account i havnt been able to fekin play the dam thing yet.
im just hoping its easy to set up a lan game indipendantly of their big brother system.

I have no way of knowing, so is it less active there than in NA? i know during normal business/school hours it's pretty unpopulated, but by 5pm there's at least a few games going every day.

euro seems less active than current NA scene in QL (at least in ffa/igib/ctf modes)

duel seems about equal.. all servers generally full (or in use)

a distinct lack of european and east coast servers though (they had around 30 CA servers up and maybe 7/8 UK/NL)

some more ctf servers (and better maps) would be a nice addition

yeah. lucky for me TX has a lot of servers, and I'm pinging 40 and less to all of them.

lucky for me too cos ctf in euro is maybe 3-4 games a day at the weekend whereas tx was full from like 7pm onwards (uk time so thats like 1pm?)

only 130ms there too which is playable (unlike the 195 i get on CA)

yea atm theirs only like 1 duel UK server and ALOT of CA and VA servers :(

well i ping like 40/50 to uk servers, so +60 ping just dont feel great :(

BOO HOO HOO! i ping 50-100 to europe and it's quite playable even with 100 ping imo :)

yes boohoo, when ur used to a sold 30/40 for many years. 50+ doesnt feel right!

Well, there was supposed to be about 3000 invites that went out a few months ago, which I suppose they were trying for about 5,000 total - and now 5000 more have been added with all the quakecon invites that went out. You can estimate that around 10,000+ people have gotten an invite so far.

90% of these invited players might have played 2 games, got raped pretty hard and wait for the matchmaking system now.
I personally know lots of guys who are just frustrated that QL (right now) is just like Q3, you dont have any chance against any active player as a casual gamer.

it's a fucking beta and they didn't even move the system to the final servercluster yet afaik.
but I agree for now, the server spawning is kinda random and makes no sense in most cases.
