after a preliminary listen.. felt like meh, standard songs

liked their experimental electronic stuff more from Amnesiac, Hail To The Thief etc.

listened the album again with the right mood.. it is nice and all :)

the site is dreadfully slow - have been trying 60 minutes to pay for the album.

considering just downloading it off piratebay - much quicker.

too bad such a great initiative isn't backed up by proper IT - a fast website, and a choice between 128, 192, 320 and flac download, through bittorrent for instance.

I got it at like 8am this morning when I woke up and it took like 3 seconds to download. I guess as more people hear about it it's going to get worse today. Will probably be alright tomorrow though. ;)

Interesting experiment. I'm amazed at the reaction. Quite funny reading comments from those who haven't bought an album in years say they're buying it.

It was quite funny that I last checked Radiohead's website like 4 months ago. I was kind of surprised when I visited again @ 9th of october :). Finally it's out.

Anyways, the album rocks! Can't wait for the bonus tracks... and the discbox.

I personally can't understand this album, just can't see the music in such a shitty recording. Will wait for CD or vinyl.

It's crap if you can hear the difference in a double blind test. Anything else is just bullshit. No comment to the actual music since I don't have it.

I always can hear the difference. In fact, most recently I listened to DVD-Audio version of NIN - With Teeth and it sounds much better than the CD. Never heared this album in mp3 but I'm sure it would sound like shit, all the extraordinarity of the beautiful music is in the ddetails.

It actually sounded fine for 160k, alot of the times mp3s is down to what/how its encoded as well as the actually bitrate, ive had 256k mp3s that have been encoded badly that sound arwful before

It seems to get better every time I listen to it. It's definately Radiohead-y, but it's quite different from their other stuff (which kinda makes it similar to their other stuff). ;)
