Anyone from NA/EU ordered directly from Artisan in Japan lately?

How did it go? Did you have to pay customs fee / taxes when it arrived? How long before it arrived?

Last time I ordered there, I never received anything. Had to go through a lengthy dispute @ Paypal to get my money back. (this was several years ago)

Now you only can pay with credit card (means I'm fucked if I don't get my mouse pads)

Because it will end up being much more expensive having to get it from a reseller in the US.
About 3 x the price, roughly. (with taxes)

ordered around a year ago: 7 days from Tokyo to Saint Petersburg.
delivery was ~12eu no additional taxes or fees. all ok.

I bought a pad from them in 2012 and had no problems.

It took about 1 week from Japan to france. No taxes, directly from artisan-jp.com
I also ordered a pad through Amazon. Again, no taxes and 15 mins after the transaction, they sent me a mail providing the tracking number.

bought a hien two month ago there, took 4 days to arrive here in germany, and i didn't have to pay import taxes, which i actually should have tho.

i just checked it again, and they stated the total value to be 2800yen, which is about 21�, and so 1� less after i have to pay import taxes(19%). :|

no, because it only had a total value of 21� stated on the parcel.
it's tax free up to 22� here. :P
