Edawn is an advanced Quake III Arena modificaton with many nice features and improvements

Major server features:
* configurable ruleset system - allows you to modify almost everything in the game (osp*,ql,instagib,cpm* rulesets included)
* competitive features (team lock/unlock/g_speclock/etc)
* advanced ban/notify system
* improved voting system
* rotation system
* ability to modify/replace map entities
* reworked FreezeTag
* advanced bot aiming skill (w/airrockets) for rl/bfg/pg
* vanilla(baseq3)-compatible
Major client features:
* very configurable HUD with useful in-game hud selection menu
* much improved demo UI, fixed server browser, singleplayer fixes
* many useful cgame cvars to setup enemy|team model|colors, hitsounds, effects etc.
* improved gfx smoothness (in combination with 1.32e)
In case of installer: select components and proper directory then just follow instructions
In case of ZIP archive: get pak0.pk3..pak8.pk3 files from your original Quake III Arena CD and 1.32 pointrelease, place files in baseq3 directory
To play: launch Quake3e.exe/Quake3.exe directly or via created shortcut
* fill rotation.txt with maps you want to play
* point g_ruleset to ruleset you want to use ("instagib" for example)
* type map q3dm0 (doesn't really matter as map will be switched to first in rotation)
Related to mod:
* new cvars (cg_projectileNudge,cg_ambientSounds,cg_explosionSparks)
* ItemPickupTime HUD element
* much more accurate and stable client-side prediction
* fixed server browser
* numerous bugfixes
Related to engine:
* improved win32 dedicated console
* light bloom postprocessing effect
* a bit better qvm performance
* additional master servers: master.maverickservers.com, master.ioquake3.org
* small bugfixes
While mod is fully compatible with original 1.32[b|c] binary - it is highly recommended
to use 1.32e or at least recent ioquake3-based engines (until r2178) to play
