Philipp "reload" Kotecki, who will be participating in the upcoming DHW 2011 Duel Tournament. He talks about his training, future goals and his DreamHack invitation. Here is a snippet:

Your manager should be very happy, that two players of ESC Gaming are playing at the Dreamhack. Is this the first big offlineevent for you?

reload: Surely he will be happy about it, but you have to negotiate with sponsors if you need money for traveling and the hotel. The Dreamhack is not my first offlineevent, 2 years ago I took part at a warsow-tournament in Paris, which I won :) during my Quakelive career I only took part on german offline events, but because of that, the Dreamhack will be exiting and I always wanted to visit the Dreamhack.

Considering he's 19, theres 50% chance he was born in Poland, making it impossible to name him Philipp... Even if he wasnt born in Poland, its still kinda impossible for his parents to name him Philipp, as its simply not a fuckin polish name...

However i must admit i didnt notice one of possibilities yesterday... If his dad is a Pole, and his mom is German, there is a slight chance they would name him Philipp...

That was poorly worded, let me rephrase it : check the polish people who settled down in France.
Practical stuff like being conscious that your son will already be Mr Kcjzijozky and that there's no point in calling him Maciek unless you want him to be locked in some polish community, back in the early 1900's.
Or even in the early 2000's - even though it's pretty obvious that nobody would give a fuck anymore in France but what about other countries ?

I don't mean it's bad, I mean that times were different and in some places people might still be pretty locked in their habits and stuff and could look down on people who they consider not trying hard enough to fit in.
For some reason, I doubt Mr Lahssiri would call his daughter Djamila in Poland ( 0.24% anyone ? )
Or people might just not care as much as you would like them to.

please let's not start the long ass debate about what fitting in exactly means, if you're not completely retarded you should understand my point

My parents are from Poland (mum from Chorzow, dad from Szczecin). My grandmas/cousins/aunts/uncles still live there, so I used to go pretty often to Poland. Nowadays I've got a bit lazy visiting them. :D
Anyway, I was born in Germany so that's why my parents decided to give me the germanized Philipp instead of Filip.

after debugging this my guess is his brain tried to interpret an innocent post as an attack. finding no relation he reverted back to his usual paranoid state and just drew some random data from the clipboard. this caused the garbled reply.
