Edit: Hmm never heard of being able to shut off prediction with the 3600. Razer is usually full of shit, but it might work gl!

Just get the 3.5G. The sensor might have been inferior at one point but with firmware updates the tracking is flawless. Seriously.

well, abyssus at lowsens(@450dpi) perfoms even better than old DA, hitting 5+ m/s perfect control easily while DA would stuck after 3m/s
Though that's not smth what matters for most quakers unless u use 50-60cm+/360degrees ingame
And afaik jittering issues of DA3500 were fixed after some firmware update(unlike it can be done for abyssus, and those faggots dont even fix new ones coming from their factories) so there's nothing worse about it comparing to the old sensor.

3500 is fine, my friend bought it at lan after trying my 1800 and we couldn't find any issues at 1000hz and 1800dpi with a QCK

The 3.5g is superb now. Just need to update to the newest firmware. Should have been released fine but that's not Razers way. They like to make people suffer for a year : )

What about the build quality?
I still have an old DA (and dreams about putting it's sensor into a imo 1.1 or ime 3.0 :D) but after like 1.5 years the right click started to act strange double clicking on single click and not registering clicks (altough it looks fixable, only need to reconstruct the small plastic piece what presses the switch, I pushed it so many times so hard that there's a hole in it + some WD40 should fix the switch imo).
Also the wheel barely responds, like it's not detended (is the correct word?) at all.
So did they improve anything else on the new one apart from the new sensor and braided cord?

It's 50€ here so it better be really solid otherwise they won't have my money.

The initial firmware was bad, and it seems all the reviews were done at that point. The newest firmware is great does not have prediction (this mouse never did from what I've read) and tracks just as well as the old DA on the surfaces I tested (PureTrack Talent, SS 5L, Everglide Titan). The only problem I have with the DA is its size. I wish they made one slightly smaller...
