Costs 20€, has a good feling and an awesome "rubberized" key coating, macro keys, etc... Doesnt have iliminated keys like Lycosa though.

I don't think it's worth it to get her that keyboard if the only reason she likes it is because of the way it looks. I think that's a really unnecessarily expensive keyboard, it takes too much desk space.

If she wants a keyboard that lights up, she can always try the one fatal1ty hawked for a while:


That ones good, small, (i think) cheap, and also has these "flat" keys. But I don't like it for FPS games because it beeps and locks up when you press more than 2 or 3 buttons at once.

Why don't you just take her to an electronics store and let her pick one? I've seen some super cute pink ones selling lately but I never could stop using my €15 MS spillproof :(

she started in quake3 with i can win bots but then saw me play guild wars and ... the rest is history :p had to buy another game with expansions xD

Quake isnt really friendly, heck even unreal is more friendly :P
I just play it casualy from time to time now.

I have the Arctosa, which is the same as the Lycosa without the backlight keys I think.
And actually, it's quite expensive for a keyboard like that. I have the feeling to play with a toy :)
The material used for that keyboard is a cheap plastic and it's very weird to use it, but on the other hand it's quite comfy when typing.

But to sum up, I will not recommand it because of his cheap plastic aspect, and it's fragile and expensive.
