After one and a half week of voting for the game type of our infected cups, we couldn't decide between 4v4 and 2v2 TDM. We created a final voting now that will run till monday.

Choose between the two team sizes here and lets see what will make it!

After that you'll need to decide over the map pool!

It's time for our Quake Live infected EU Cups again! This time we want you to decide about the game type and the map pool! Because of the FaceIT duel cups we would like to see more team action maybe. But of course you can still vote for duel! It doesn't matter what game type! Freeze Tag 2on2, iCTF 4on4, CA 3on3... everything is possible! Just post your wanted game type with the team size. This voting will run till the 4th November. The gametype with the most votes will be played 2 times weekly: 1 time for all, and one time for beginners, so everyone has a chance to reach a decent rank! After deciding the game type, you will decide the map pool!

In the 6th edition of the infected Duel Cup Series

RSn, who couldn't attend in the finals after overheating his computer. After some internal problems we have to schedule the 7th edition for the next saturday. It takes place on European servers and all players of all skill levels are welcome! You can already sign up, and make sure to have a stay on IRC at #infectedGaming while the cups proceeds. We made some changes in the rule work that contains only 5 maps.

We received a lot of complains from the newer and not so experienced players in Quake Live during our last few cups, so we'll organize another Duel Cup but this time for players only below 1400 dueling Elo points! (referring to QLRanks). The first edition takes place on European servers. You can already sign up, and make sure to have a stay on IRC at #infectedGaming while the cups proceeds. Of course you can participate at the regular duel cup to get a higher challenge, but if you lose in the first rounds you can try out this one and maybe you'll win! So even if you have above 1400 ELO points but you lose in the first round of the infected Duel Cup, you'll get a seat in this cup. Have fun & enjoy your time!

Last Saturday we decided to use a double-bracket since we only received 16 sign-ups. And 3 polish totally dominated this cup!

PYTON and reached the third place. But

PYTON wasn't able to defeat

LeSzNy, who made his direct way over the winner bracket to the finals. The sixth edition takes place on European servers and all players of all skill levels are welcome! You can already sign up, and make sure to have a stay on IRC at #infectedGaming while the cups proceeds. Again you need to help us: Last time you voted for 2 additional maps for the mappool. But T4 and Hektik reached the same amount of votes. Now it's again by you, which map will be played in the future. Here you can find the poll. If you lose, don't worry! There will be a Beginners Cup at Sunday!

zer0c fought his way to the winners podium with the third place. The fifth edition takes place on European servers and all players of all skill levels are welcome! But this time we need your help: Just in time for the Dreamhack Summer event, we are updating our mappool but we still need to add 2 maps. On our homepage (right side) you can vote now for one map, that you want to have in the infected Cup Series. The votings are open till sunday, so it's about you, which maps will be played next Saturday!

And with the new Quake Live update we start our infected Cup series in Quake Live!
The duel cup starts with a group stage. You can find the rules right here. Please stay stick to the rules to have the best experience in competetion and fun. Infected Gaming now organizes the cups every Saturday and later with some changes, so more players will be able to participate. Don't worry we will inform you about the cups but maybe you should know, how to sign-up. Just check out the cup page to see the wanted chapter.

If there are any questions or if you don't know how to work with the portal, just contact a admin on the IRC (#infectedGaming) or via a private message on our page.

After quite some time without Quake Live in VERSUS some fans made us rethink the situation and give the game another chance.
