I can, I hate hyped up games...

It isn't that hyped is it? I mean I barely heard of it actually. Quake 4 itself was way more hyped (sadly it also is kinda sucky).

Well I think because they are dying for a replacement of ET. And I can kinda imagine. Compaired to ET games like BF2 are kinda boring.

Ah well, guess we will have to wait. But I dunno about the whole vehicle crap thing working with objective based games. Kinda removes what ET made ET I think =[

It's not because of hype - I visited the Splashdamage offices abour a year ago and saw the game so I know what it will be like (mostly) ....

so the game was done a year ago?

somehow I think im sure that ill wait for the next release of rtcw instead of playing battlefield in space clone...

It won't be a Battlefield in space clone. The biggest difference is the objective based team-play as was present in ET e.g. Go to location A , fix vehicle, drive to location B, blow up target ... etc.

I got bored of BF2 very quickly because it was just CTF - run around cap flag ...go to next flag point ... meanwhile enemy caps the flag you just got.... go back to flag ..

rinse and repeat

hmmm,maybe but I just dont see objective based with vehicles working, in ET you had the tank that you would be escorting and could shoot with the MG on it, here you have complete vehicles which removes the FPS skill I like to see in these games, like RTCW/ET. Something like shooting rockets out of a heli is not skill for me :<

I know that you are just here to troll, but as a diehard ET/RTCW player im sure that helicopters & jeeps & tanks wont work out that well for the real fps players, thats why I will be waiting for the next rtcw release..

Do you actually have any idea of how the game will be?

judging from screens & video it will be somewhat of a bf2 clone but with objectives and better graphics.. but we will see, addicted to WoW atm anyway.

It's not like sitting with the mortar in ET requires any skill either ;)
I would tend to agree, tho, but since splashdamage did a great work in ET, I would trust them by now.
