u getting some fucked up echo sounds when a frag happens and gibs fly around? delete the sounds in q3mme file, search for "gibs"

record avi doesnt work on every computer, often stops at 3 seconds. u have to go via virtualdub and record as screenshots. then munch it together as a video with windows media maker and get a file of 50 GB size. now add sound (still win movie maker) and save as a compressed movie. its totally worth it.

the sound i mean is a sound maybe like a microwave is finished sound or shit, cant describe it. its an additional sound when the frag happens. not echo sound that are fucked up.

ok i found a q3mm3.fx file in my wolfcam folder, searched for "chat" there but found nothing. then i found a wcweaponbar.menu, same story. or what? did you wanted to tell me?

didnt see that reply. soo, maybe u need to install a custom-hud to disable the chat background (it seems the default hud is not in the ui folder). u find it here (admin) http://qlhud.net/166 the q3mmf.x makes all the effects in the 3d-world, has nothing to do with the hud.

oh c'mon don't leave me in the lurch (i had to look this up) now :)
