why the hell does the vote end in6 days (and started 1 week after the event)? i mean who the fuck remembers even half of the stuff now? and tbh i guess it's not the same to recieve a prize 1month after the tournament as well.
imo the voting should start kinda instantly after the event and close after about 1 week. i mean it s all about rewarding those things that caused some special rumor and joy in the community, not making perfect judgement after scimming thorugh each game. it's about letting players know that the community appreciated their performance, and to tell this there s no better time than directly afterwards (maybe with few days time so ppl can check some other hyped stuff they missed, but definitely not a fucking month)

Yeah, I see what you mean. Take this as an experiment so we do better next time. Also, I literally had no time to prepare posts and vods before this weekend, and I did not get any volunteer to take this over.

If you have paid attention to the process we had a submital process where all of the community got to submit what they thought was the best of these prizes the top ones are now chosen and now the community as a whole gets to vote on who will receive the prizes. Tbh I think its a great process since this was all community money anyways. The rest of the money has all been paid out to the prospective winners so it doesn't matter how long it takes in my opinion esp since Momento has been doing this by himself on his own time between being involved with live streams and his own life. As one of the top donators I don't care how long it takes us to decide on these prizes since they are community thought up prizes anyways and the players who participated in DHW have already received their winnings from the standings.

These awards were destined to be largely ignored. I'm not sure how anyone could have expected anything other than that.

The interest in every single LAN event has always dropped by more than 90% on the first day after the LAN. Naturally, this DHW is no exception and it could have been easily expected that the interest in these awards is close to 0.
