The last Go4Firefall cup of the month is happening on August 18th, so take your chance and earn some Go4 ranking points towards the Monthly Final. The Top8 of the ranking are qualified for the Monthly Final August, where we have €5,000 prize money.
But you can still play in the Go4Firefall Cup North America on August 25th and the European Cup Series will continue in September with a cup on each Sunday!

The European Go4Firefall Cup #3 will start at 17:00 CEST and the North American Cup #3 will start at 4PM EDT. Get your team ready, sign up and compete on Sunday against other Firefall teams.

As you know, Firefall started with PvP. We have gone through several iterations, and for some time, pursued the controversial e-Sports route. As many of you know, its not working very well. Our last big attempt was a pure PvP eSports mode, Jetball. While very fun, its a high skill game and doesn’t attract many of our players (less than 3% PvP in Firefall).

Also, PvP has suffered as our focus has had to focus on the popular PvE part of our game. People want more content, fewer bugs, and more polish on these world systems. For these reasons, we have made the tough decision to suspend PvP and take the system offline so that we can rethink it and relaunch it

apparently the chinese company investing in them is close to bankrupt and they've put well over $100M into the game and it is set to be the biggest game development disaster ever, topping APB.
