more than Tosspot, which is a perfect choice, thing is getting more variety than zoot, ddk, voo and levelup. There are like 10 "classic" alternatives whether on the studio or online.

No big events in months though. Wheat could step up and host an online cup, improving his reputation from the shittiest quake caster ever to being so legendary the esr logo gets replaced with his face.

How dare they use zoot and ddk on a weekly basis. Assholes. I want Wheat, the shittiest Quake caster ever, to host online cups. Clearly the best idea from megaman3.

don't get me wrong ddk is awesome (when he talks in "russian") but I miss shouting and energy in quake casting like Tosspot provided, even when wheat exaggerates too repeatedly. The "pro" feel wheat and tosspot give is pretty nice as well.

And I called wheat the shittiest quake caster ever because he literally knows less about it than wtfproof and it shows way too often. It takes more than quakegasms, and add wrong facts and game assessment to 10 minutes of screams then you get an awful quake caster. To this day he does not have the tosspot and joe casting sense of being able to cast something they have never played and look like they know what they are talking about even when they don't.
If wheat practiced duel with slasher and the latter taught him about the game then wheat would be one of the very best, but that's not gonna happen as it never did in like 13 years.

It boils down to why bitch about something as trivial as the commentators when the game itself is already boiled down to FaceIt cups and sporadic tournaments? Are zoot and ddk the best? Nope, and I agree that Tosspot's enthusiasm is definitely missed but, I say this with the most undying respect and love for you...

I mean, noone really managed to make quake a show of such quality and calibre except faceit, even 2gd couldn't reach this level with his gd studio (although he was very good too). I really [+] faceit for doing an excellent job and hopefully it won't let quake die.

Meh, this has been the fist time since years I had to mute a stream because the shoutcasting was insufferable.

I really couldn't stand the constant high-speed talking, describing every little unnecessary play-by-play detail, while also interleaving some 'analysis' (but only the very obvious stuff that can be said in 3 seconds).

No offence to vo0 but he really isn't a good caster. Has a lot of trouble speaking fluently and articulating his thoughts, which is natural since he isn't a native speaker. But that doesn't make listening to him any more enjoyable.
