Sorry, guys. But I would not participate this playoff, like happened last 2 qualies, because since they changed the servers ISP, my ping, and also all brazilian players ping, became unplayable (150 - 200ms).

1st the server was moved to another isp 2 months ago and you played the first 2 qualys with good ping.
2nd we have nothing to do with the server owner, we only can complain about the situation and tell them to fix this.
3rd its a routing problem from brasil to the server :s.

If the best players in the region are not participating, that tournament has no value. Actually, it only exposes how shamefully torn apart the south american community is.

Uruguay pings very well, i damaged my left hand punching with the minor knuckles a hard cupboard some months ago and im still not able to practice enough to participate on a tourney with maps that i really need to play for a long time to learn, otherwise i would have joined. Lets hope i can practice properly for the next one. I know some Paraguayans that ping well too.

You should be a little more respectful with Doomsd4y's posts, he knows his shit, have won many lans and online tournament in q3, q4 and quakelive in the region, i remember at least one in my country in Q4 where he payed his ticket and rest of the expenses of attending a lan in other country with 2 more Argentinan players, cod47 and greyfox. Time will tell. He will have, be on Internet or Lan, opportunities to show himself, meanwhile lets not piss at the only organization that did a decent online tournament in our region in a long time. Keyword: online (prone to fuckups).

nobody is pissing at anything, just picture it the other way around, bra hosts a tourney where cl and arg participate, and they decide to call it LATAM tourney, but then after 2 quallies both cl and arg routing begins to fail. So only bra players remain, would the winner of that country be te best LATAM player? just asking really.

Also I never whined about anything, and I don't belive it was a boycott or w/e, I think (from the little i've seen) the organization was pretty nice, admins did a great job.

Your comparision is wrong, in latam 3 countries where participating (but a lot more could have been there, they just decided not to sign in [uruguay, paraguay, bolivia,etc]) then 1 was sadly ping fucked. Your example has 3 countries then 2 are ping fucked, not a smart comparision tbh.

from my experience (MEGAMAN3) flesh1 is by far the best latam dueler, which he proved on the first 2 qualies.

Thing is if mur and klz (br) could achieve a podium finisher too. Klz did on the tournament he played (second place, lost against flesh1) and mur didn't participate.
