If someone is already qualified, he is probably already sponsored. The ones who could win a spot here, without being qualified in advance, would require sponsorship and a bit of cash boost, like that 100 Euro - which they won't realistically receive due to the level of competition.

I don't think he was playing deliberately bad; But I think he knew strenx online usually beats him and after aerowalk he saw no reason to continue. Can't blame him.

I can see your point, and I would agree with you if I hadn't seen it several times before.

Seen him doing this since 2008; remember him playing against Noctis when he was the in-form online hero; was on gtv/casted etc and avek deliberately played terribly: then came out in top shape at the next lan event (which was a couple of weeks away or w/e).

Did it in a zotac final vs rapha before a big event; rapha even said "why don't you just give me the money; he isn't even bothering to play" (or along those lines).

And again in a streamed ESL showmatch vs Stermy.

I can confirm that he's playing very experimental almost to a point of being reckless ( it's a good way to feel his shape and also to get a grasp of what works and what does not). But he's av3k and he can do that and still get away with wins :p

agreed. but one of his best maps, ztn, is not in the map pool (: he hit awesome rails vs cypher on hub though. and tox is probably one of his weaker maps, too. :x but yeah, i hope he does well.

must have been the microphone xD If you have problems with it you should tell it during the cast because when I cast they all have different settings i.e. somethings the mic is too loud, sometimes ppl cant hear me at all etc.

yeah and one other thing too: try not to talk so much on top of each other. seemed to me like you guys had a competition who could get more air time on the stream. i had to watch russian vods because of this.

maybe i sounded too harsh. sorry for that. i like your casting. you and zsx did a fantastic job with DHW 2010. my guess is it's easier to work out the chemistry between two casters IRL than on skype.

it is, actually. it also depends on the caster style. i could have laid back and just did the analysis while he did the play-by-play cast but we sorta did freestyle and thats why it sounded so chaotic.

zoot and I have a good chemistry as well but we are quite similar which forces me to adapt more or just focus on strategy rather than excitement etc.

but i was in a good mood and just went with the flow. it sorta got out of hand though. i have to admit. but i had fun, we had fun and thats what counts.

Your casting was terrible both of you; you more especially. You need to know when to tone it down, you're not funny or anthing you're just annoying. That's why half the people on my friends list listened to the russian stream.

Bugger off, as a caster you need to learn to take criticism and I'm sure many others would agree with me in saying that both your castings were terrible.

Why would I cast zotac? I play in zotacs you muppet; also I'd much rather watch the game than hear a bunch of men go on about f*ck all.

I'll continue to either spec the games or watch the european streams.
