I don't care about down votes. This is not by stander effect, as many people here would like to think. sadly, I've watched more than a couple of run overs/serious accidents in 2 different countries (south America and Europe) and always the by standers rushed to help. This is a cultural thing of the Chinese. If you save someone's life over there, then you are supposed to take care of than person from then on. And this are the results. As fucked up as can be. So please, Chinese people who live abroad, try to change that mentality back home.

From purely logical perspective, why our brains evolved to consider helping people in accidents as a good thing, why we experience certain "sick" feeling when we observe victim of accident just ignored by others?

I think the sick feeling is more psychological than simply just against inhuman, but yes the "good" feelings about helping others are somewhat related to inclusive fitness and (irrc) it's caused buy elevated dopamine levels in our brains.

I think that maybe 50% of the reason why there is so much crap (including like this in this topic) in our world is because people are educated in the manner that makes them mark some really important questions as too retarded or too silly or too obvious to ask, while they don't have a slightest idea about answers to those questions.

If you want to learn about evolution in an easy to read way, get a book like "the greatest show on earth" by Richard Dawkins, or look him up on youtube. Its more about evolution as a whole, not just humans. But its interesting, once you understand how evolution basically works, you can almost join up the dots with most things and see how they came about. Not at an extremely deep level, but should be enough to satisfy your curiosity.

Well, evolution by itself can mean any kind of evolution, but I meant evolution by natural selection, which although you could question what is "natural", I don't think it has much to do with eugenics. From what I understand, evolution by natural selection is pretty much the opposite of eugenics, maybe you could call eugenics "evolution by conscious selection".
