Sp is lower friction but durability is awfull from what i heard, swift is abit less slick, but way more durable, theres a pad call airpad pro, should have the lowest friction but its kinda hard to find, not to mention expensive

Zowie G-TF or the Hien mousepads from Japan? Cloth is the way to go regarding durability and both have rather low friction.

Friction is way higher compared to plastic, no comparison imo, but durability is always an issue for plastic.
And btw, icemat isn't as low friction compared to plastic too

the G-TF has the least friction of any cloth pad ive used - HOWEVER, do NOT use it with an intellimouse, they do not like it one bit (stalling and shit, couldent even do a 180 ingame)

thanks for the heads up. i'm using wheel mouse optical. i wonder how does zowie io1.1 perform on the g-tf.

I used a Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 on it, and half the time i couldent even look left right, it would just look up/down ingame with it

The CS-X Battle Pad DP is also very slick, and bigger. But to me does not have the excellent stopping power that the KAI.g3 provides along with the glide.

I use IMO 1.1a on G-TF @ low sens (plus accel) No problem, tracks well and no neg. acceleration since I adapted to the mouse.

artisan is not available in my place. currently torn between an icemat and a swift. any users of those pads mind to share their thoughts?

go for the swift. i've properly tried both SP and swift and my vote is clearly for the swift. compared to other plastic pads it's a lot more comfortable too.

Same here, but to me the swift just isn't slick enough, but other then that it out performs every hard pad out there, larger surface, okay durability, rounded sides, good grip.

Artisan ships them INTL as well as Malaysia. My personal thought's are of course in my review already and now hitting the 3 month mark I cannot see myself wanting any other mouse pad. To me it is as close to perfect comfort as it gets.

I've gone back to my Puretrak Talent. The Artisan turned out to be a bit too small for me.

i have same issues with artisan size. medium is too small for me and there is no info whatsoever when larger sizes will be available again on stock.

The problem is that the even the Large isn't that big.
Allthough I would prefer it to be bigger it isn't too small for me.

I've already got a free sample from artisan months ago, very nice pad and superb quality, but I wouldn't call it low friction.

Why would anyone with a WMO want a low-friction pad? Low friction only helps high-sensers, where you don't want the pad to oppose to your tiny movements. For medium and low sens, a regular-friction pad will work much better since it gives you control.

Low friction mousepads are bette4r good for pixel precise movement. Also low sens players might use their wrist for small motions.

Low sens players do not need the pixel precise accuracy of slick mousepads since they can literally move from pixel to pixel at will.

lubricate your face, and use it as a mouse-pad.
