I've had a func 1030 architype for years, hasn't warn down and looks like new still. I'm a pretty high sens player too and it's pretty nice to use! :)

you already have one of the slower pads around :/ plus you got one that does not wear down your glides... so.

QcK+ = Good, wears out relatively fast
QcK heavy = Good if you don't mind the spongy-ness
Artisan KAI g3 = similar to QcK but more durable + sweat stain protection
Razer Goliathus = Apparenly good

I used to rock the QcK+ and Heavy, but honestly.. The Goliathus Control is just better imo.

i disagree. in my opinion its too thick, to spongy and it has too much friction. cant say anything about wearing out fast coz mine ended in closet after a month or two.

i am much more satisfied with razer goliathus speed. its a bit faster, thinner and harder. needs washing every few weeks.

i wait for kai g3 now. i hope its as good as razer's goliathus speed, maybe a bit faster and less demanding for washing since does not absorb as much moisture.

If you consider cloth, getting a Razer Goliathus Speed mat would be a very good option. Its really nice feeling and it doesnt irritate your hand, like the QCK does

If you consider the the roughness of the surface, the optimal temperature, lifting distance, mouse type, sensitivity in-game, comfort of the material and thickness you are left with the obvious conclusion; use your face.

I'd recommend that you actually try the mousepad first before you buy it in order to prevent disappointment. Ask your CS buddies if they can help you out. [assuming that you don't know that many people in RL that actually play QL]
