no, not really. You can never blame the players, they just do what they need to in order to win. Blame quake / maps.

rapha, noctis, dahang etc just use ztn's flaws as good as possible which makes it terrible for spectators.

in all these cups i always remove ztn and dm6! dm13 is lot diferent from vq3, so its ok, and t7/t9 !!

I think, many people asked them to remove ca2, but they need odd number of maps in maplist, so they had to remove one more map and chose t4.
I don't understand why you say dm6&ztn are boring. There were a lot of very interesting matches on these maps in Dubai, for example.

Let's see, there were 4 main branches at zotac. On the 3 first main branches you had: weird, guard, madix. On the last branch you had burnedd k1llsen strenx dem0n (:D)...

I didn't even sign in to this cup for the 100€, cause I know my chances are very low to beat strenx, killsen and the likes, but I sure wanted to be top8 to get some AGP points.

I didn't do burnedd-like and ragequit the cup, I played my games until I got kickedout... but if the guys at zotac are fair enough and want to prove us all that they will find a way not to fuck up the up and coming zotac cups, they should remove the AGP points for this week.

Youre not beeing fair at all. Cooller ? so that makes 4 good players divided into 3 branches, too bad it still doesnt match the 4 ones in one branch. And cooller isnt as impressive online as on lan, so he'd prolly lose to the online heros that strenx and killsen are... (and they're still top seeds considering they both won zotac already.)

Anyway stop answering to me, the only reason you're doing that is to have your agp ranking points which you dont deserve at all <3

It really seems more like you are angry that you side of the bracket was fucked up and YOU didn't get a good shot at the oh so precious points. And I really doubt you would have written all that if you hadn't been in the lower bracket. So, if someone is talking from a subjective point of view, that would be you.

Also you need to realize elimination brackets will always be unfair for the lower seeds, because it really comes down to luck in the seedings. (And because of that I personally think having eight SE cups as qualifiers and then award points is a bad idea, because how much points the mid seeds get only comes down to luck )

look. I booked my afternoon for that cup, only to play with those brackets. I usually CANT play zotac cups, and when I do, look at the brackets ? Dont you see where all the frustration goes there? Its not like 'oh what the hell it was fucked up today, np, Ill try next week'. No, I cant play zotac cups every week...

What I dont understand is why the admins did not change the brackets manually at the point it was totally broken.
Yes, I wanted those AGP points, thats the only reason I played for this cup, not the 100€, cause I know my chances to beat guard, strenx killsen, etc in a row are as big as they are... And now I'm not going to play any more zotac cup in the next couple months.

But I don't see why you would want to "punish" the other players for that. If someone if to blame it's the admins not the players. So your demand looks more ike a childish:

PS: By the way I wanna mention that the AGP ranking points are meant to be, in the future, responsible for seeding the players for several tournaments that will supposedly be sanctionned by the AGP.

Therefore, getting points on the zotac cup for the AGP is a mean to get better seeds in the future, am I right ? Isn't it there where my whole point gets a little more relevant, and a little less childish ?

Elimination tournaments (especially SE) will ALWAYS be inaccurate!!!
This goes even for the second/third strongest players and becomes more accurate the lower the ranks are. So, yes the seedings based on these points will also be inaccurate. (Which is why I said earlier, that the qualification procedure is a bad idea)

So basically, if you want the admins not to give out points if the results are inaccurate you are effectively demanding that no tournament that has any elimination component should be rated.
Might as well not have seedings at all then...

Just to clarify it for you, even if you do get perfect seedings (as in the players are in an order that matches their skill) in the standard distribution the players 15-18 (for a 32 player bracket) will be fucked.

Because the winner of 16vs17 will face seed #1 and 15vs18 will face seed #2 in the second round.
