Averatec-Intel Classic Season 3 will run for 20 weeks from March 29, 2009. Unlike most of the other StarCraft leagues, there will be no preliminary matches, all matches are considered as a part of the knockout tournament. Averatec-Intel Classic Season 3 will be broadcasted live in English by

Nick "Tasteless" Plott.
In the round-of-16 GOMtv will only show 2 matches in a best-of-3 format on each Sunday. The second 2 matches will be:

as much as I love HoeJJa, I gotta go with Flash here. ( just cause it's flash.. )
Also Hwasin's TvP is not exatcly top notch but I still think Shuttle will pose no threat to him.

I thought Shuttle vs Hwasin was pretty entertaining watching live, because I didn't think it would be as close as it was.

Yeah though, nothing epic enough worth losing sleep over.

Things were very back and forth in those games and they obviously took a lot out of the players.

Shuttle looked shattered, emotionally and physically, by the end of the final game. Having that cameraman standing in his face for an awkwardly long time probably didn't help. :)

Just recently, Blizzard, the most famous game company who made such classics a Starcraft, Warcraft, and Diablo, announced that they are partnering up with GomTV and sponsoring their current league, TG Sambo - Intel Classic Season 3, as well as a WoW and Warcraft 3 league.

Blizzard is giving 50 million won toward the TG Sambo - Intel Classic Season 3 Starcraft league, and the winner will also be awarded a spot in this years BlizzCon event.

On June 10th, the WoW tournament sponsored by Microsoft and its new product the Sidewinder, will be having a league, also sponsored by Blizzard with 50 million won.

There�s currently a Warcraft 3 event going on at GomTV that you might know about already, it�s being commentated by former Warcraft 3 stars ToD and Rotterdam. Blizzard is sponsoring 10 million won toward this event.

50 million won is like $40,000. This is big news. D=
