If you are intelligent, you must live in a world filled with morons (half of which are women). You see, intelligence is relative. Compared to a squirrel, even the biggest idiot is a genius. If you are dumb, you may be better off than someone intelligent. Your peers are everywhere. The only idiots you deal with are the literally retarded. You rarely run into anyone who makes you feel dumb, because the truly intelligent are rare.

On the other hand, the intelligent must seclude themselves with other intelligent people. When you are young, you might enjoy your intellectual superiority. As you get older, and other people have more of an impact on your life, stupidity becomes irritating. You may even become despondent over the fact people will never stop being idiots. You try and try to educate them, but like teaching a squirrel philosophy, it simply does not work. In the end, you are left with only poor choices: exploit the idiots or spend your whole life penniless; marry a moron, or spend your whole life alone.

We must live with these people, who have the vocabulary of a chipmunk. These people who, while technically literate, fail to grasp the basics of language. The only way to change them is through evolution, an impossibly slow device.
