All sports websites show the latest scores front and center or on the top score ticker of the front page of the website. Furthermore, after big games, the score or winner is usually in huge, bold print along with a clear title of who won.

Rapha may or may not have beaten chance today in their thriller of a match. After one of them won the first map, that same player took it to his opponent to secure the victory.

well watch the demos then :P. I mean, as with all other sporting events, if you want to be in suspense, watch it live.

Don't compare this to other sports. It's not like fans videotape the matches and watch them later on. Some might do, but it's not comparable to watching a demo from an electronic match.
What's the difficulty in just doing what Jamerio says. You will end up with two happy parties (as if there should even be different parties). A demo (or a re-aired football match/formula 1 race) is much more fun to watch without knowing the results.
In fact, whenever the football season is on every sunday night I watched the football highlights of the play-weekend without knowing the results. If I do know them before hand, I don't even bother watching.

I see your point, and I CAN hide the scores, but the other factors still can't be changed. The title of the post should reflect who won, and I usually will write 1-2 sentences as a caption with small details on who the winner and loser is. I don't really see how this could be changed, and I will not write ambiguous posts as I wrote above.

agree with vo0, i think hiding scores is the way to go, even if you give away the result in the title.

I can do that, but you're still going to know who won. I don't really have a better solution, will think about it.

do it like vo0 suggests..i just came from a pub and thought i would watch the demos since i missed the match but as vo0 said, when i saw the outcome and scores all the interest faded away.. simple "rapha vs chance match over - read below" then demos and then some actual stuff about the match or something would do it

You could easily put 'Chance vs rapha results' as the title. Order player names alphabetically and do the same with the demo files (I HATE how, even if you manage to avoid all other spoilers this will 99% of the time give it away anyway).

"ESWC USA - Lower Bracket Finals" would have worked for a title :)

scores are even hidden on demo posts. imo they should be hidden on the main page too. if you make a post for the coverage before the match you can put the results within a hide tag = everyone happy, they can look if they want or ignore if they wish

watch them live, you know about time zone's ? and is it really that hard to come up with a title that doesnt give away the result ?

i mean, i appreciate you doing what you do, but some of us cba to watch the live match due to real life stuff that can't be put aside. It's not a huge deal, but it does spoil it a bit.

I had the same inclination when I first saw the posting of the results, for like a split second. Then I was like "It's a video game, retard. Snap out of it." and all was right in the universe again.

warcraft replays site gives you a breakdown of the match and after 1 day of it being live they do a big new story on it :)
