i think it will get a so-so reaction. if u like soad, you will definitely love it. at least i do.

the first three released songs (Empty Walls, The Unthinking Majority, Saving Us) sound very soad'ish, so everybody asked why he'd go out and make a soloproject.
well, after listening to it about 3 times i kinda get his point. lotsa piano stuff, lotsa accoustic guitar parts. some hard riffs, nice drums nonetheless. couldn't do all of it under the soad tag.

+i think Daron Malakian is a major pain in the ass when it comes to the creativity process. :)
