i hope you meant civilization 1, or colonization.. those were the TOOF, and still are!(im still addicted to civ1 yes :<)

civ 4 is great too, and it looks a lot nicer.

im all for the old classic looks/gameplays, civ1 is so simple, and the graphics just makes it feel simple too! i mean sure you can play it quite advanced using alot of trading and abuse marketplaces along with a well run republic, but you don't HAVE TO know so much to play it, thats sort of what i love about it

also: heroes 2 <3

II and IV were both more addictive to me, even though i played I quite a lot.

III and Test of time sucked though.
