Socrates was raving about it at WCG so I started watching. Is quite interesting but a bit too slow moving. Also wtf are those guys mad. Why didn't they kill Sylar when they had the chance.

Lost is even worse yea. Actually when I think about it Prison Break is really bad too.

Lost is really slow because the script was written for only 2-3 seasons, but as it happens they decided to string it out for 7 - 8 seasons. It means they have to do a similar thing to what they do with anime/manga where they make "filler" episodes and stories which weren't in the original story. Prison Break is probably the same, although I haven't heard any official word on that.

Heroes is awesome and is fairly "action packed" compared to shows like Prison Break and Lost, at least at the moment. It'll probably end up going the same way if they get a deal for more seasons though.

Oh and I assume they didn't kill Sylar because they wanted to find out how he could steal people's powers and/or extract all of his powers. I'm just confused at how he managed to wtfpwn his way out of the "neutralizing" padded cell. ;p
They just need the pacifist, black mute and it's gg Sylar anyways. >D

Best thing to do with shows like that is forget about them for a few months then watch like 8 episodes in a row. That way you get an episode worth of content. ;)

the same will happen to this show though, now its getting popular. the best shows are the ones that end abruptly with you wanting more! eg The Office.

I assumed that Sylar was being pacified by the black guy, and not the cell.

I thought it was quite clear that Sylar has the power of being able to figure out how things work, which is why he was taking people's brains to figure them out. I doubt they'll go into more detail.

i read that the girl playing Eden had some problems with her contract, so that the writers had to finish her off and generally "speed things up".. and sylar didnt seem to have any huge problems breaking that glass :) and i mean, it was just a little too weird sending her in there alone with a gun :p

From what I have heard Prison Break is supposed to play out in 3-4 seasons. Atleast that is what the PB fanatic that I know told me.

I'm guessing it's some sort of government agency that wants sylar alive for research.

I still really like it but i agree with Sujoy's comment, shows like this tend to be a bit slowish at times. Also some of the characters act kinda stupid/unrealistic. That said Heroes still manages to keep it interesting with some nice plot twists and surprises.

i saw the first episode because my friend told me it was omfg awesome but i wasn't so impressed. felt like borrowed concepts from x-men, anime and a bit of the matrix. nothing new.

maybe the following episodes are better.

It does feel strongly inspired by U.S. comics but I think it's done on purpose. I still brings freshness in the world of comics adaptations, with a rather nice casting (Adrian Pasdar > *), rather deep characters, and an interesting storyline.
Could be better, could be alot worse too. :)
I'm enjoying it honestly.

well like i said, i've only seen the first episode which didn't really gimme a reason to get the following ones but judging from the comments here, it must be worth checking out.

Never judge on any less than first 2-3 episodes. :P
Some series have potential but need some time to get going for real.

shows go so slow these days because writers are getting back into the non-reality mode they had before...so they have to stretch what they have now till they get enough material to last a whole season...

theyre all following that show 24...one day over 24 episodes...hate that show btw..

im just glad reality shows are finally dieing out...now ill have a reason to pay my cable bill besides just to keep internet service...and ill have to get used to what channels I have on my TV again tho :-(
