well the prizemoney in total is nothing to write home about so i guess we'll see it all happen at the big event in december :)

You also have to remember that these are not meant to be World Tour stops like last year. Some of these events aren't even open to foreign players and need to go through a qualifier to compete in the national finals.

Is the Brazil event a national final of regional qualifiers? If it isn't and it is open to everyone then you would have to be disappointed with 9 confirmed players, I know I would be. I am really looking forward to seeing some strongly contested tournaments, and 9 players doesn't really lead to that. :(

Maybe its 5-8th -> 3000 so you would have to divide by 4 to get the individual ammount.

oh and add much more players from germany, sweden and easter europe..

i only know of one good brazil quaker. if a country doesn't have many stars it usually means that the game isn't big over there, just look at quake in asia for example..
