How the hell did you get id's support for new servers? We've been trying to get NZ servers since ql started, with sync mostly ignoring us, or id giving the same response "we aren't looking to expand our server cloud" every time. Despite us having 2-3 companies willing to host.

I'm guessing it's because DreamHack hosts LAN-tournaments, so they just took the same box and hooked it up to the internetz instead of having it gathering dust between events.

It's acutally the other way around.
Sweden is well known for great connection speeds, which for some reason always forces us to play on servers in Spain or in the UK.

So, I don't expect this to change anything in official matches, but it will make QL more fun for public/pickups since the game is totally retarded if you have more then 40 ms.
