There isnt many to choose from. They ditched 16:10 so they can use 16:9 panels for both TVs and compurer monitors and 4:3 is long dead. So you can Gogh either with 16:9 or some retarded super wide 21:9 bullshit. Basically 16:9 is the only reasonable choice for a new monitor

21:9 is fine now that they are doing 120hz and beyond. If you have a game that runs 16:9 then you can just run it as that and maintain aspect ratio and since the screen is likely bigger it'll be the same size as a normal 16:9 monitor. however you also have the choice for 21:9 for single player games and desktop which is really nice.

21:9 is more than a viable option if you need a larger workspace without buying a second monitor. (Especially true since the first ultrawide 144Hz models emerged - gaming AND effective office use / programming / etc. with a single display.)
