well, i think there would have been more teams/people if we had 4v4/2v2 QC tdm, especially 2v2 tdm, pretty cool mode.

P.S. I don't mean you should drop QL.

QC TDM has wrong settings with 1s weaponrespawn - normal TDM settings are 30s for weapons, 25s for armors and 120s for powerups anything else is just wrong.

Youre asking people to invest their time into organizing a league for a casual mode in a dead game. If they hosted qc tdm league there would be zero interest for 4v4 and 4 teams for 2v2

There are people. They like some things. If there are enough people and they like things strong enough, maybe some tournament/league emerges like HoQ TDM. This is how a league appears. This is what "group together" means - "group together around a common interest". So if QC TDM fans don't group together, then it's their problem and you should go to them and address your complaints to them, instead of other games' players. It's QC players who don't group togehter and can't build a community.

The reason HoQ keeps going is not that it has a homepage, but that there are players willing to participate. QC TDM needs to fix that "problem" first.

The #tdmpickup draft cups ran via IRC only and had >60 participants for years.

QC TDM isn't a real mode. It's like asking ESEA to make a competitive CSGO:DM league.

Doubt it. All they might do (in a year or two) is enable setting like this in custom game. Until then - QC team modes are not played with competitive settings and result in a spam fest. CTF might work...might. But they are going to fuck that up as well I guess.

Should be a TDM classic mode for QC, I mean TDM has been with similar spawns, rules etc since Quake1. I don't care that much at the moment as QC runs to slow on my PC to be enjoyable, regardless of all the other flaws in QC.

I guess we, the others, do care about the game itself being shitlol though.


And no, TDM rulesets (and the way the game plays out) differ quite noticeably between Quake games.
