The servers should be privately set up by someone close to 125fps cups. Then the I.P only given to casters, admins, players, etc.

Edit: Also the servers should not be registered on qlstats, so as to make it much harder to find the ip to DDOS

We had password and invite only servers back before the steam release, didn't stop from random idiots connecting and taking up server slots.

The reason this happened was because of casters,admins and players giving out passwords and inviting people.

In other words setting something like that up wont help as the servers will leak. Things get even more stupid when you have every other player fighting for ping advantage and refusing to play on certain servers.

Should just force everyone to 100ping with no lag compensation so people would at least stfu about ping advantage and warpers.

If one of the ones that is invited to the server ddos's, you should know the same names after a while.
