Yeah, I believe the surface has to be given that behavior when making the map. You can't do it everywhere.

It's neat to have a little section of a map where a map maker might choose to include it so the player can gain speed. But whole maps like that? Rather dull imo.

It's a special surface itself in radiant, you can have as much of the map made with it as you want. You can only do the trick on this surface afaik, other than the little "slick" you get when groundboosting.

you can sort of replicate it in ql by changing crouchslide settings.
pmove_crouchslide 1
pmove_crouchslidefriction 0
pmove_crouchslidetime 9999 (not sure if necessary)

with these i easily hit 1000ups when sliding around on the middle floor above quad/mega room on campgrounds

very awesome, but weakened by 1000 inapropriate uses of 3rd person (vs 1 good one), a handful of situations where it should have been used but wasn't, and some stupid effects. Nice weapon sounds tho.

very nice movie, thx! a lot :) rlly liked it, the end struck me a bit cuz i was alrdy looking forward to some more content :/ :p

some critical input:
didn't get the grasp of a few runs. sometimes the made edits left the route/run's epicness rather unclear, sometimes u could've undermined the epicness with editing.
runs 8 / 10
editing 6-7 / 10
personal touch 10/10
overall feeling 8-9 / 10 :)
