I mananged to find a couple of brand new WMO's, and decided to see what all the fuzz was about.

It looks great, has a perfect shape, feels light... but for some reason the sensor seems to randomly skip a few pixels every minute or so. Could my Razer Goliathus be the problem? Never had any issues with my Abyssus.

How do most people here have their WMO configured? When I plugged it in, Windows instantly started downloading drivers (v 8.2). I suppose it's at 400 DPI now. Mouse rate is on 125 Hz.

BTW: If some people here are still looking for a brand new black WMO, I might consider selling my spare one (unused obviously).

It has more than A LOT (!) problems with 125hz, you have to overclock it to 1000hz or at least 500.
This will fix ur problem i think.

also overclock it to 500hz as 1000 as with most mice is unstable

pad cannot be the problem, this is not razer

All I do with my MS 3.0's is that I clock the sensor to 500hz. Default drivers and default dpi. Never skips and never gives problems.

I don't have the link with the over-clock procedures here, but someone can probably give it or use google :)

Same should apply to this.

D66-00027 started it's production back in 2003 or so, it's a new sensor.

Well, with HK it's a hit or miss.

I've used about 4 different mice from HK - 2 of them were not working properly. Most people I know share the same experience.

They all have the 30days/free shipping policy but if you're from FR, I guess UK shipping shouldn't be an issue.

I'd go with the UK one.

I have no skipping problems, and this is the first I've heard of them with the wmo.

Been a while since I used 125 Hz though, 500 here.

Seems like 500 Hz fixed the issue indeed.

Rails and rockets hit a lit easier, but LG feels horrible sometimes, probably because it's a bit heavier than my abyssus.

People who are still intrested in buying a new unused WMO 1.1 a (black) can always PM me =)

don't you get more neg accel as it's malfunction speed gets lower with 250?
or do you just use high-ish sens

No. At 250 Hz its malfunction speed is as high as it gets, there's no difference between 250/500/1000.

Well its a common problem, but i was playing with 500Hz almost year.I can say its more responssive, but for some unknown reason, polling rate with 250 give me more smoothness with LG and better accuracy with RL, i have no idea why, but with 500hz my RL sux really hard.I notice negative accel almost every flick shot, but i have to deal with it and started using accel.

Where did you get them new? Afaik the only way to get a new WMO nowadays is from china through ebay, and they are not 1.1a but 1.1 (on the sticker it says "Wheel Mouse Optical" and not "Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1a" because they are units that came from an original boxed unit, and 1.1a is not the box version, even if both are the same fucking mouse is still strange that you get new 1.1a.
