The Gamescom 2010 in Germany Cologne will be hosting the 2nd Global Challenge of the Intel Extreme Master Season 5.

The Quakelive tournament will feature 16 players (14 invitations + 2 qualified) with the following cashprizes:
cup_gold 1st: $3,500
cup_silver 2nd: $1,700
cup_bronze 3rd: $850
4th: $550
5-8th: $400
9-12th: $250
13-16th: $200
Total: $10,000

The StarCraft 2 tournament will feature 16 players (10 invitations + 6 qualified) with the following cashprizes:
cup_gold 1st: $5,000
cup_silver 2nd: $2,500
cup_bronze 3rd: $1,400
4th: $900
5-8th: $600
9-12th: $400
13-16th: $300
Total: $15,000
