There are much cheaper DIY methods but if someone wants something more fancy, why not, and mixing it with an USB hub isn't a really bad idea but it sucks that you can't turn of the lights.

Reading the whole SDMS marketing bullcrap lets Razers PR look pretty conservative.

Maybe the Kova is something worth considering buying.

You could buy a regular mouse bungee for $10. A 4 port USB hub? $5-$10. There's no way to justify buying this, even if you want something "fancy."

Of course it's overprized and I wouldn't think of buying this thing for a second (allthough it will sell cheaper a few weeks after release).

I can't judge the quality of this USB hub but there are hubs for 5$ and hubs for much more. So if someone likes the design and gives a shit about spending 20$ or 40$, let them buy it.

Makes the mouse feel more like a wireless mouse and is pretty cheap.

I was using tape on my monitor, but it would get loose and when I went to uni I couldn't use tape (small desks, laptop and didn't want to tape onto the walls) so I bought a mouse bungee.

It's pretty good, prefer it to the feeling of the wire on a desk.

No. It's polyurethane paint. It's fucking adhesive, can be removed only with abrasives.

Yeah, it was my mistake. I plan to buy another one and do it again without sanding, in one layer. In result, it should be kind of soft-touch surface, although i'm not sure that I will be able to achieve this manually (normally it should be applied using sprayer). However, even now I like much more how it feels in my hands, especially when they sweat. Kind of WMO surface feeling :)

all mice have the chord at the wrong place, i moded mine so chord exit at the back at the pinky side off the wrist. Almost wireless feel. haveing the chord at the front make one whip the chord around

HMm... quite easy to mod that.
On the other hand.... I'll loose the cords tactile feedback at the right side pad edge (it tensens up somewhat). Although it also hinders somewhat.

I use 22cm for 360. Hand dosnt touch cable just have to tape it down so it doesnt.
Replaced cable with a salmosa cable, since its so light and flexible.
(have to splice the cable before the plugg since the plugg wiring dosnt match up with the salmosa)
Removed a lot off plastic, everywhere i dont thouch the mouse (and inside) Sanded down inside etc to make it thinner, removed sidebuttons and microswitches, added a siderail for the ringfinger, (can se a bit off it on the pic) so can just lift hand and not grab mouse so much when lifting it. I have rsi/mousearm and was used to light mouses, ie3.0 feel like a brick when i started using it and my hand got worse so had to mod it. Now its very light and comfortable.

The cord might get in conflict with the wrist if you use a lower sensitivity but as long as it works for you it's fine ;)

well this is my new setup, mouse bungee + standalone numpad. really comfortable
