Now before I get trolled into oblivion, I would like to say that I am in no means experienced at meditation or quake.
I´ve been using meditation as an alternative to drugs for the last 3 months or so. To much cocaine and SSRI´s caused a psychosis which fucked up everything, including my quake “skills”. I started meditating and I noticed that I would play a lot better. My hand was less shaky, my screen looked brighter, sounds were clearer and my aim was a lot better. Another thing which I tried that seemed to work was to tense my hands in a tight ball then release slowly focusing on the relaxation of my fingers and palms. This I do for example while waiting for a ca round to commence. There´s a butt load of things I’ve been testing but it’s too early to be included here.
Do any of you fellow Quakers meditate or have little psychological tricks that help you with your game.
